As you drive over the livestock grids surrounding the area to the golf course you know you are in for a wonderful location at Tavistock GC which is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A friendly atmosphere welcomes you in the clubhouse and it is very relaxed inside with various places to soak in the atmosphere. A short hop over the road (closing the gate of course to stop all the livestock from entering the club) will take you on a lovely experience through the golf course and over the National Park. The golf course was established in 1890 and with continual updating and maintenance to the highest standards it offers a challenging test to golfers of all abilities. 

Just watch out for the livestock here on this course, there is certainly plenty of them!
