Celtic Manor 3 Day - 20th-22nd September 2024
Celtic Manor is a name synonymous with world-class golf, and recently, the resort hosted a thrilling three-day competition that showcased its stunning courses. Players battled it out across the iconic Roman Road, Montgomerie, and 2010 courses, each offering a unique challenge.
Day 1: The Roman Road
The competition kicked off on the Roman Road, a course known for its dramatic elevation changes and picturesque scenery. Players navigated the challenging layout, testing their accuracy and distance control. The day ended with a close leaderboard, setting the stage for an exciting finish.
Day 2: The Montgomerie
Day two brought players to the Montgomerie, a course designed by Colin Montgomerie. Renowned for its wide fairways and strategically placed bunkers, the Montgomerie demanded a combination of power and precision. Some players made significant moves on this day, while others struggled to maintain their momentum.
Day 3: The 2010 Course
The final day of the competition took place on the 2010 Course, the venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup. This championship-caliber course put players to the ultimate test, with demanding water hazards and penal rough. The tension was palpable as players fought for the title, and the competition ultimately came down to the wire.
