St Pierre Scramble - 17th September 2024

The sun shone brightly over St. Pierre Golf Club in Chepstow, casting a golden glow across the fairways as 160 players competed in a fiercely contested scramble. With a clear blue sky inviting golfers to make the most of a perfect day on this scenic Monmouthshire course, the competition was intense.

Winners:

• Top Nett Prize: Marcus Sykes, Martyn Olds, Chris Harris, and Andy Lloyd claimed victory with an impressive score of minus-20.
• 2nd Place: Rhys James, Ben Griffiths, Owen James, and Nathan Watts finished just behind with minus-19.
• 3rd Place: Lee Holt, Aaron Gibson, Gyles Thompson, and Mark Crook with minus-18.

Special Awards:

• Nearest to the Pin: Will Watts, with a stunning shot to seven feet on the lengthy 18th, using a driver off the tee.
• Longest Drive: Daniel Griffiths with a huge drive down the 9th, while Jan Light won the women's longest drive contest.

Best Gross Score:

Congratulations to Liam Bailey, Gareth Browning, Adrian Sargent, and Richard Sargent, who secured the best gross with a fantastic score of 61.
