Ross Forno
Managing Director Born in Aberdeen and educated at Robert Gordon’s College then the University of Aberdeen, Ross moved to London in 1998 then to Gloucestershire in 2008 where he lives with his wife Harriet, and little girls Millie, Annabel and Georgina. Ross is an active amateur golfer, and founded Golf Pairs when working full time in the Oil Industry, developing the business on a part time basis. Since 2020, Ross took on the MD role full time, and we have not looked back. Ross is looking forward to future growth and interesting opportunities such as growing our overseas events, sponsorship opportunities and corporate events.
Sam Maylott
Director of Golf Sam was born in Worcester and educated at Rendcomb College. He moved to London in 2002 and back to Gloucestershire in 2007 where he married his wife Rachel with whom he has 2 children, Olivia and Max. Sam is a very keen amateur golfer and has a real passion for the game and is focused mostly on the golfing side of the business. This includes selecting and arranging our ever growing calendar of events, which keeps Sam busy on top of his career in the Pharmaceutical industry.
Zara Littlejohn
Operations Manager Zara has been working with Golf Pairs since 2018, starting with the MGPT event day team running events for 4 years before going full time in 2021. Having run events from start to finish for many years she now looks after all things operations, including our event team who meet you all on the desk at events!Zara completed her PGA and turned Pro in 2016, although she doesn't play much any more she loves getting down to the golf pairs events to meet golfers as often as possible and hosting our overseas events
Ross Wilson
Marketing Manager Ross is an avid golfer who has been lucky enough to forge a career within the golf industry. From a seasonal starter to a part of the meet and greet team on the 1st tee of The Old Course to achieving record high revenue as manager of one of Scotland's most unique golf clubs, Ross has extensive experience working within the golf industry and in particular golf specific digital marketing.
Tom Phillpotts
Competitions Manager Tom started with GolfPairs in March 2022 having previously worked as a Golf Operations Manager at Brocket Hall and Club Professional at Welwyn Garden City Golf Club also in Hertfordshire.After many days coaching in the rain and missing the fun and relaxed enjoyment that came with amateur golf Tom applied for his amateur status back; and upon receival joined as a member of Welwyn Garden City Golf Club , actively taking part in their Scratch Team and club competitions.
Enjoying playing in club run events Tom decided to Join Golfpairs to use his passion and enjoyment of the game to help organize and run many of the competitions Golfpairs has to offer.
At weekends you can find Tom on the course or in the bar watching his beloved Tottenham Hotspur.
