Rotherham 2025

Today we visit a new venue for golf pairs and welcome Rotherham golf club to our event schedule for 2025. We’re also booked in for 2026! Let me tell you it’s really worth booking in, it’s a lovely course in Thrybergh hall estate.

Today’s nearest the pin was on the 14th hole over the road and was won by jay appleyard ( no cars were hit during this event )

The HIO hole was on the 3rd hole with Steve, a lovely par 3 up the hill! Plenty of charity donations and balls given away but no hole in one today.

A special mention to John Griffiths who got 3 twos today but didn’t end the twos pot! People have been warned about this in the past, excellent golf though! 2 of the putts were monsters.

The longest drive for ladies and gents was on the 4th a sweeping hole through the valley with a brook on the left and plenty of trees lining the right side.
The longest drive winner for ladies was Lisa crimes and the men’s was Ben Woolley.

Our next event will be held tomorrow a bond, Bondhay. The tightest golf course on the planet. Bring your straight game, leave the driver at home!
