Offering two distinct golfing experiences, the golfers ventured onto the renowned Medal course, a formidable par 71 layout stretching across 6,655 yards. Renowned as a qualifying venue for the prestigious Open Championship, especially when held at nearby Carnoustie, today's challenge promised a true examination of links golfing prowess.

Set against the backdrop of undulating terrain and interspersed with dune ridges and gorse bushes, the Medal course presents a picturesque yet demanding landscape. Notably, the presence of tree-lined fairways adds a unique twist to the traditional links experience. Its hallmark features include expansive, swift, and meticulously maintained greens, coupled with strategic bunkering, elevating the course's reputation as a hidden gem of Scottish links.
