Highlights of the Course:
The Championship Arden Course is, as it says, the championship offering when it comes to golf at the Forest of Arden. The Par 72 layout has hosted the DP World Tour on 11 occasions, holding both the English Open and British Masters. Darren Clarke and Colin Montgomerie both won twice on the Arden, with Thomas Bjorn and Robert Allenby also among the winners.
The signature hole today, a 200‑plus yard par‑3 that plays across a large lake to a well‑bunkered green, offering one of England’s finest closing holes—a fitting climax atop the hotel backdrop
Weather Conditions:
We had rain for the 1st shot of the day, but by the time they reached the green the rain cleared and it didn't rain again all day. We had a fair breeze that was constant all day, which made the course play its full yardage.
