Fife 3 Days Swing 2nd - 4th May
The Fife 3 day started today at Dumbarnie links. Unlike last year the conditions were more kind. A light morning shower and then some heavier rain until mid afternoon provided the typical Scottish links golf challenge. A drier end to the day left players in good spirit.
Dumbarnie is number 40 in the top 100 courses in the UK so our field of golfers were super excited for the days golf.
Steve Brindley and Thomas Hoess win todays best dressed. Thomas and his friends are over from Germany to play in our events sporting some boozy trousers!
One putt wonder Raymond pipe had an unbelievable day on the greens, so many one putts.
There was some great nearest the pins today but the closest was Ben stead on the 8th with a fantastic shot to a tricky front pin.
Also alex Steven’s shot -5 gross! With birdie, birdie, eagle start. What a round
See you tomorrow at Leven links for day 2 of the fife tour.

Day 2 - Leven Links
Today we are at Leven links golf club. Day 2 and moving day of the 3 day fife tournament!
A cold start to the day, however not a rain cloud in site which was great. The sun peaked out in the afternoon so perfect links golf conditions.
MASSIVE shout out to Scott Fraser for his hole in one on the 7th hole today! 182 yard par 3!!! Our HIO prize hole was the 9th!
Dan Gabriel has won the best dressed with an unbelievable short and flat cap combo!
The leaderboard was hotting up throughout the day and ever changing as pairs jostled for position.
It’s really set up for an exciting final day,
See you tomorrow at Ladybank parkland course! A different type of course for our golfers to get there teeth into!
Thank you Leven you have been superb, fantastic hospitality thanks to Neil and the team.
The tee times will be in reverse order tomorrow!

Day 3 - Ladybank
The final day of the 3 day tour at the beautiful ladybank golf course. This stunning heathland venue is one the best in Scotland.
In 1983 Seve and Jack Nicholas hosted an exhibition match here too, it was meant to be a St Andrews on a Sunday but it was closed so relocated to ladybank and 5000 people turned up!
The weather today was superb, we finally saw the sun. Excellent greens and some
Brand new bunkers for our players to get ‘ stuck ‘ into.
Jacques Steven had a HIO on the 10th today! Unbelievable, back to back days aswel. The 10th is 172 yards and the pin was so tricky!
Dave millar is the best dressed golfer
