What a fantastic day we had at The Astbury Golf Club, located in the scenic town of Bridgnorth. Set within 300 acres of beautiful parkland, this course offers stunning views of the surrounding rolling hills, making it the perfect place to enjoy a round of golf. With its USGA-standard 18-hole layout, the course combines both challenging holes and breathtaking views, offering a truly remarkable golfing experience.

The Astbury is known for its open parkland and spectacular woodland views, ensuring that players are not only challenged by the course’s design but are also treated to stunning vistas at every turn. Whether it was the serene greenery surrounding the holes or the picturesque backdrop of Bridgnorth, the course provided the perfect setting for a great day of golf.

Weather Conditions

The weather was ideal for golf, with clear skies and pleasant temperatures allowing for an enjoyable day on the course. It truly was the perfect day to experience everything that The Astbury has to offer.

Memorable Golfers & Moments

• Longest Drive on Hole 11: Ben Smith hit an incredible drive that left everyone in awe, claiming the men’s longest drive prize for the day.

• Nearest the Pin on Hole 18: Chris Ryan delivered the best tee shot of the day, landing the ball beautifully and close to the pin. With a fantastic shot from 180 yards over water, he landed just 6 feet from the hole, a truly impressive display of skill.

Tournament Results

The competition was fierce, but it was Steven Hubball & Tom Williams who came out on top with an outstanding 44 points to take the win. Their well-earned victory was followed by Paul Griffiths & Gurinder Cheema, who finished just behind with 43 points.
