It was a picture-perfect day at Saffron Walden Golf Club, with sunshine bathing the immaculate fairways and a gentle breeze keeping the mood just right for competitive golf. The greens? Lightning-fast and true – the kind of surface that rewards precision and punishes hesitation.
Golfers turned out in high spirits for a full day of competition, camaraderie, and some impressive scoring. The sunlit course offered a stunning backdrop for an event packed with standout performances, friendly rivalries, and a little flair for fashion.
On the Leaderboard – Prize Winners
The team of Neil Harmer and Steve Foulds stole the spotlight, clinching 1st place and pocketing a £200 MGPT voucher, along with taking 1st place in the 4-Hole Competition. Their sharp play and cool heads on those slick greens made all the difference.
