Remedy Oak Golf Club Tournament Recap: A Day of Challenge and Achievement
We had an unforgettable day at Remedy Oak Golf Club, a stunning venue known for its picturesque landscape and challenging layout. This 18-hole, par-72 championship course stretches over 7,000 yards, winding its way through mature forests and incorporating natural water features to provide a truly serene yet testing golfing experience. Remedy Oak is a gem for any golfer looking to enjoy a mix of beauty and challenge.
Course Highlights:
Remedy Oak offers an immersive golf experience that challenges golfers of all skill levels. The course is beautifully designed, weaving through towering trees and featuring strategically placed hazards. Notable holes include the par-3 4th, a picturesque hole with a backdrop of natural beauty, and the par-5 15th, which weaves through a valley, requiring precise shot placement over water to reach the green. It’s no wonder Remedy Oak continues to be a favorite among players!
Weather Conditions:
As always, the weather added its own twist to the day’s play. We started off with a warm, sunny morning, perfect for golf. But as the day wore on, the weather turned more unpredictable. We saw some drizzle hit the course, followed by a wind that made the already-challenging course even more difficult. The changing conditions provided a true test for all players, and it was clear that adaptability would be key to a successful round.
Tournament Highlights:

Round of the Day: While there were a few contenders for Round of the Day, the pairing of Elliot Scott & David Bushnell truly stole the show. The duo shot a remarkable -6, 66 Gross, not only winning the Gross competition but also finishing 2nd in the Nett competition. Their performance was a standout in what turned out to be a competitive event.

Winning Pair and Score: Glyn Middleton & Steve Foot – With a total of 47 points, they secured the win, proving their excellent teamwork and strategy throughout the round.

Runner-Up Pair and Score: Elliot Scott & David Bushnell – Their fantastic round of 46 points earned them the runner-up position.
