Ingrebourne Links 2025

What an incredible day we had at Ingrebourne Links Golf & Country Club, nestled in the heart of Rainham, Essex. This inland links-style course, just 20 minutes from Central London, provided the perfect setting for a day of golf. Designed by the talented Alan Walker, the course mimics the feel of traditional links courses, with its rolling fairways, revetted bunkers, and large undulating greens. It's a gem for any golfer looking for a true challenge close to the city.

Ingrebourne Links offers a unique golfing experience with its classic inland links design. The course winds through stunning landscapes, with each hole offering a new challenge. The fairways are rolling, the bunkers are deep and challenging, and the greens are large and undulating, requiring precision and strategy on every shot. This course provides golfers with a traditional links feel, all while being conveniently located just outside London.

The day began with perfect conditions: blue skies, no wind, and ideal temperatures for golf. However, as the day wore on, the weather changed. Around 11am, a stiff breeze began to pick up, making the conditions a bit more challenging for the golfers, particularly those teeing off in the afternoon. While the blue skies remained, the wind added an extra layer of difficulty, testing the players' skills and patience.

We had a number of memorable moments throughout the day. James Livingstone earned a special mention as Best Dressed, sporting a very colorful outfit that certainly stood out on the course. But the real standout moment of the day came from Michael Barker, who nailed a hole-in-one on the 11th hole – a fantastic achievement that had everyone buzzing. Congratulations to Michael for that remarkable shot!
