Prince's - 3rd April 2024
On Wednesday, April 3rd, the Golf Pairs Tour embarked on an unforgettable journey to the prestigious Princes Golf Club, where 74 teams, comprising 147 golfers, gathered to compete along the historic and picturesque South East coastline.
Prince's Golf Club stands as a testament to the harmonious blend of modern amenities and historic allure, offering 27 Holes of championship links golf amidst an enchanting coastal backdrop. Undergoing significant redevelopment since 2017, the club has proudly hosted esteemed events such as the 2023 Women's Amateur Championship and served as the venue for The Open Championship's Final Qualifying from 2018 to 2022. With a rich history dating back to its hosting of the 1932 Open Championship, won by the legendary Gene Sarazen, Prince's Golf Club has solidified its position in the Top 100 Great Britain and Ireland rankings. The club's on-site accommodation at The Lodge provides breathtaking views over Sandwich Bay and Royal St. George's, complemented by a delightful dining experience at The Brasserie On The Bay, awarded with 2AA Rosettes.
Throughout the day, our golfers experienced a full spectrum of weather conditions, encountering all four seasons, from a "slight" breeze to rain, before being graced with the welcome appearance of sunshine, allowing everyone to thoroughly relish the day's proceedings.
It was truly a delightful day on this exceptional golf course, which showcased fabulous conditions despite the long and wet winter experienced across the UK. Links golf at its finest!
