Perthshire 3 Day - 18th-20th August 2024
Day 1 of our Perthshire events which started with the wonderful Alyth Course. Tree lined and with beautiful views of the surrounding hills the golfers were in for a treat and all compliments were paid to the staff here. The weather stayed in everyones favour and not an umbrella in sight. Alyth Golf Club has a history dating back to 1894 when it was established by a group of local golf enthusiasts. The club's early course design was done by the famous golf course architect, Old Tom Morris, who is renowned for his contributions to the development of many classic golf courses in Scotland

Day 2
A larger field today as we combined with a 1day event due to the popularity of this golf club. Two wonderful 18hole courses very much rated the same level and the 9 hole Wee Course, described by some as a Little Gem. Wonderful preparation of the Rosemount Course awaited our 164 golfers and those who set off in the earlier part of the day were rewarded with the better weather and the rain appeared to dampen our afternoon golfers but all played in great spirit as we met them around the course.The clubhouse provides excellent facilities, including a bar, restaurant, and pro shop, ensuring a pleasant experience for all golfers. The club's emphasis on tradition and its association with a renowned golf course architect make it an attractive choice for golf enthusiasts seeking an authentic Scottish golfing experience.

Day 3.
Wow, what a course with outstanding views. To be a mountain goat would be an advantage here but once the golfers had climbed up to the 5th tee the views were definitely worth it. But one golfer called Ryan Czajowski did not have a problem with the 4th hole as the 170 yardage was holed in one. Congratulations to Ryan! Pitlochry Golf Club was founded in 1909 and is one of the oldest golf clubs in the Perthshire region. The club was established to cater to the growing interest in golf in the scenic town of Pitlochry, a popular tourist destination known for its stunning landscapes.
