Lingdale 2025
We are treated to an excellent golf course with spectacular views, stunning scenery and wildlife and is described by many as the best golf course setting in the County. Peter Aliss described the course as a "hidden gem within the Midlands" and Tony Jacklin, winning Ryder Cup Captain during a visit in 1989 said it has 'probably the toughest opening three holes in the Midlands'.
Weather Conditions:
A lovely autumn morning, a misty start but it soon cleared with the sun burning through for perfect golf conditions. 18 degrees, no wind, no excuses!
Any memorable golfers or moments:
The 7.39 pair of Lewis and Ryan entered the twos competition and managed 3 2s between them including a pair of them on the HIO 7th hole. That’s some nice monetary vouchers coming your way!
Tournament highlights: wow! A difficult day in perfect conditions with 43 winning! A really tricky plotting course and it’s nice to see a low 40s score being the winning one.
