Hollinwell - Wednesday 1st June

Today we are at Hollinwell golf club in Nottinghamshire, Robin Hood country!

With the open qualifiers just weeks away the course was looking superb. A tough test with some long rough today… we were feeling generous and let the field tee off on the yellow tees!

Conditions were good, light breeze with sunny intervals. No excuses today bar the heather.

Todays best dressed golfer and birthday boy is Ben Stead!

Phil walters got a great 2 on the par 4 10th. The hole was 350 yards through the valley at the top of the course!

Not sure how Robert brassington on 13 didn’t have a HIO, his ball was literally sitting on the edge, unlucky sir!

Thanks to all 190 golfers today and thanks ti Hollinwell for hosting another superb event, over to the pros in afew weeks time in the qualifiers.
