Frilford Heath - 12th April 2024

Under the Friday morning sunshine, 180 eager golfers descended upon the picturesque Frilford Heath Golf Course in Oxford. The tranquil and sunny conditions offered prime opportunities for stellar scores, particularly for the early groups.

With meticulously maintained greens rolling at a brisk 10+ on the stimp and firm, inviting fairways, players found themselves enticed to take on the three par 5s scattered across this sandy heathland course.

Despite the favorable conditions, some challenging pin positions, notably on the 16th and 18th holes, added a touch of nerves to the final stretch for our golfers. However, upon completion, they were rewarded with top-quality food and refreshments, enjoyed in the blissful sunshine.
