Foxhills Bernard Hunt 2025
The Bernard Hunt Course at Foxhills is known for its beautiful design and stunning scenery. One of the standout holes on this course is the par 3 8th hole, which provides a challenging yet rewarding experience for golfers. Surrounded by lush greenery and featuring a well-protected green, this hole requires precision and focus – making it an unforgettable part of the course.
Weather Conditions:
We were greeted with lovely weather for the day, although a gusty wind early in the morning added a bit of a challenge to the opening rounds. However, the wind settled, allowing for perfect conditions as the day went on. The sunshine was a welcome sight as golfers enjoyed their rounds in great spirits.
Memorable Golfers/Moments:
A special mention goes to the Archer family – a father-son duo, Ryan and Neil Archer, who made it a true family affair. Not only were they joined by their brother/uncle, but Ryan’s girlfriend also played a part by caddying, bringing extra joy to the day. It was heartwarming to see such camaraderie and the family dynamic shine on the course.
Tournament Highlights:
The 325-yard uphill longest drive on the 6th hole was a real spectacle! The drive was no easy feat, and one could easily imagine Bryson DeChambeau himself being proud of the power and precision required to make it such a long and impressive shot.
