Fleetwood Scramble - 15th August 2024
136 players took to the iconic links course in true British style—wild rain and all! Battling the elements, the golfers competed in a Texas Scramble format.
Despite the challenging conditions, the competition heated up. Anthony Hope claimed the Nearest the Pin on the 6th hole, while the Longest Drive on the 16th saw Daniel Bolton emerge victorious for the men, and Karen Pennington took the honour for the ladies.
The day’s overall winners were Sam Denwood's team, who put on a stellar performance to take the title.
The 6th hole also doubled as the charity hole, with players hoping for a hole-in-one. Unfortunately, luck wasn’t on their side this time, but spirits remained high.
