A Fantastic Day at Fleetwood

Weather Conditions:
It was a lovely warm day with a refreshing breeze, temperatures hitting a comfortable 26°C, perfect for a day out on the links.

Course Highlights:
The course was in excellent condition, and players were full of praise for the layout and playing conditions. With 150 golfers enjoying the day, Fleetwood Links provided a fair but challenging test for everyone.

Tournament Highlights:
The competition was fierce, with some incredible scores posted throughout the day. While a few players hit the crazy 47 points, it was the mixed pair of Cheery Archer and Nick Bone who took the best net score with an impressive 49 points.

Four more pairs weren’t far behind, all posting 47 points:

The best gross score of the day went to Christopher Staite & Charles Staite with 44 points.

• 9 players celebrated their perfect shots, each winning £42.22.

Off-Course Highlights:
The caterers were kept busy, serving up homemade scones, cakes, breakfast rolls, and the perfect warm-up with a few pints in the sunshine. It was a day full of golf, laughs, and good company – exactly what a Golf Pairs event is all about.
