Chesterfield 2025

Another day. Another Derbyshire event! This time it was chesterfield golf club, where we had a strong field of 160 golfers taking part in a pairs betterball event

First things first, we had a golf pairs first today we had a BIG twos pot on NO twos! Well not any twos for people that entered…


Early starters were set on their way at 9am ( a lay in for our golf pairs team today! ) with the tee right through until 3.10

Today’s nearest the pin was on the 8th hole and won by Colin parsons. Great to see one of our regulars hitting the mark. 23 inches to be precise. A short hole at 142 yards for men and 133 for the ladies.
Greg who was on the hole in one hole today was feeling very generous and he was also on the 8th, Big hole today!

The longest drive for ladies and gents was on the lucky last 18th! Up the hill so not much chance of winning with a lucky low roller. The men’s winner was Ben Jackson … and ladies was…. Danielle Kay. Two huge tee shots especially from Danielle her drive was almost with the men’s marker which is great to see. Girl powerrrr!

Our next event will be held tomorrow as we stay in Derbyshire and visit Matlock golf
