Cavendish - Tuesday 7th June
Today we were at Cavendish Golf Club
Cavendish is regarded by experts to be MacKenzie’s ‘Inspiration for Augusta’ and it’s easy to see why.
With undulating fairways, changes in elevation, sloping greens and well thought out hazards, there are many holes at Cavendish that mirror those found at Augusta.
Cavendish is a Top 100 golf course and is thought by many to be the best layout in the world under 6000 yards
Whilst most golfers can never hope to play Augusta National, they can get a taste of the challenge by playing Cavendish, regarded as the ‘Inspiration for Augusta’.
Today provided a real tough challenge to all of our golfers of all abilities!
Course management is key around here, positioning off the tee is crucial so you can attack those flags which can often be in some very challenging places.
Whatever the stakes, you are sure to enjoy this stunning layout and highly conditioned course. Sent from my iPhone
