Broadstone 2025
Broadstone Golf Club in Dorset is a true golfing gem, proudly holding the title of the number one golf course in the region. Rich in history and offering stunning views, it has become a must-play venue for golfers from all over.
Originally commissioned in June 1898 under the name The Dorset Golf Club, the course was officially opened by none other than A.J. Balfour, a prominent golf professional who would later become the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
In 1914, the course underwent a major redesign by the legendary Harry Colt, a name synonymous with classic golf course design. Colt transformed Broadstone into the beautifully challenging layout we know today. With fast greens, natural heather-lined fairways, and strategically placed bunkers, the course offers a true test for golfers of all abilities.
Throughout its rich history, Broadstone Golf Club has hosted several prestigious golf events, including the Junior Open, a significant fixture for the next generation of golfers. The course has seen countless memorable moments, and today, it continues to challenge and thrill golfers who step onto its fairways.
