Pairs Stableford Recap: A Day of Golfing Excellence at Beau Desert
A Fantastic Day on the Course
What a day it was at Beau Desert as we wrapped up another incredible Golf Pairs event! From the moment our first groups teed off to the final putt on the 18th, we saw some truly outstanding golf, great camaraderie, and plenty of memorable moments.
Beau Desert provided a brilliant test of skill, with its tight pin positions, tricky greens and strategically-placed bunkers ensuring that every pair had to bring their A-game. There was also fun and excitement on the 9th hole as a number of the big-hitters attempted to drive the green.
Tournament Highlights
- Winning Pair: Congratulations to Daniel Stubbs (24) and Louis Brown (20) who took home the top spot with an impressive 46 points. Jamie Ataria (1) and Steven Day (13) won the best gross with 39 points.
- Runner-Up: A great effort from Mark Edwards (9) and Alan Edwards (22) who lost on the count back, also with 46 points.
- Nearest the Pin: Andy Davies, Gary Hart, Matt Wallington and Neil Hughes all showed pinpoint accuracy to finish closest to the pin on the Par 3 holes.
- Longest Drive: Aaron Hughes ripped a tee shot down Hole 16 to win by some distance.
The Course & The Atmosphere
We couldn’t have asked for a better venue than Beau Desert with its challenging layout and rapid greens providing the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable day of golf. A huge thank you to Beau Desert for their early-morning breakfast offerings, hospitality and organisation, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
