Bearwood Lakes - 12th June 2024
Bearwood Lakes is an absolute must for your bucket list next year.
Nestled in the stunning countryside of Wokingham, this course never disappoints, and the beautiful sunshine all day only added to the experience.
The Event
From 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, 112 golfers set off in a marathon of skill and determination, completing the course in a remarkable 4 hours and 40 minutes.
The Scores
Great scores were recorded, with the winning pair scoring a fantastic 47 points off the white tees.
- 1st Place: Congratulations to I. Bowden & J. Sammons, who won by just 1 point over three other pairs who recorded 46 points.
- 2nd Place (Countback): C. Mandall + G. Bowden
- 3rd Place: R. Hamilton + M. Piesse
- 4th Place: M. Figgins + C. Hicks
Special Achievements
All the Par 3s were Nearest the Pin competitions, with Vince Thorne impressively winning two. Lee Towsey and Jason Riggs celebrated winning the other two. The markers showed the furthest distance was only about 4 feet, demonstrating some incredible iron play.
