Woodhall Spa 2 Day - 4th/5th July

206 enthusiastic golfers took on the challenging Woodhall Spa Golf Club in fantastic condition. This 2 day event took place on both the Bracken and Hotchkin courses which are both very testing for different reasons!  Everyone was quick to notice how quick and undulating the greens were playing on the Bracken, while the distance to reach the fairway from the white tees was the biggest challenge on the Hotchkin. The weather was great over the two days and everyone left great reviews of all facilities on offer at the club.

The Bracken Course at Woodhall Spa offers a slightly different golfing experience compared to the Hotchkin Course. It is set on more undulating terrain and features a mix of heathland and woodland areas. The course provides a more forgiving layout, making it accessible to golfers of all abilities and offering an enjoyable round for players seeking a less demanding challenge

The history of the Hotchkin Course dates back to 1905 when it was originally laid out. The course was named in honor of Colonel Stafford Vere Hotchkin, a prominent figure in the club's early years and a key figure in the development of golf in the region. The Hotchkin Course quickly gained a reputation for its outstanding design and challenging layout, attracting golfers from near and far.

As anticipation mounted, the moment arrived for the unveiling of the much-awaited prizes:
