The Gog Magog - Wednesday 10th August

The crazily named Gog Magog was todays venue. Gog and Magog appear in the Hebrew Bible and the Quran as individuals, tribes, or lands.
This historic venue has 2 course, the old course and the Wandlesbury. The latter was todays venue for the 180 players.
Again the weather was superb. Burnt fairways and slick greens seems to be a trend on our golf days with the rainfall be so sparse this year.
The suncream and sun hats were out in full force, Barry Hall had a particular fetching hat on so he could bus todays best dressed.
Well done to Steven guy who won nearest the pin on the 14th hole.
Jamie bishop won the longest drive on 10 with an absolute monster of a hit.
