A Day of Delightful Golfing: The course welcomed golfers to a remarkable day, characterized by an extensive 8-hour tee sheet and a stroke of luck with the weather. Though the afternoon breeze added an element of challenge, the skies remained dry, allowing golfers to navigate the course without interruption. Amidst the picturesque landscape, every turn presented panoramic views that complemented the thrill of the game.
The Enchanting Hole-in-One Challenge: The day's excitement was heightened by the Hole-in-One challenge on the 5th hole, a double delight as it also hosted the nearest-the-pin contest. Dan Stevens emerged triumphant as he landed his shot closest to the target, showcasing both precision and skill. This impressive feat added a layer of thrill and camaraderie to the already captivating event.
A Battle of Titans on the Fairway: The battle for the longest drive unfolded on the 11th hole, a straight par 4 lined with formidable rough and the intriguing presence of the occasional snake. Amidst this challenging landscape, the men and women contestants alike rose to the occasion. Janet Coope and Ben Mountfield, with their awe-inspiring tee shots, claimed the titles of the longest drives in their respective categories.
