Slaley Hall Scramble - 27th March

Nestled amidst serene rural landscapes, Slaley Hall boasts two picturesque 18-hole golf courses: the Priestman and the Hunting. Both courses offer breathtaking views from their elevated tees, enhancing the golfing experience with their natural beauty. Today's event unfolded on the challenging par 72 Hunting course, affectionately known as "The Augusta of the North." Despite the course's elevation of 1000 feet above sea level, a light mist enveloped the Northumberland club. However, as the day progressed, the sun broke through, casting a radiant glow over the course. One hundred forty-six golfers eagerly took to the greens, vying to claim victory for their teams. Later, as the sun graced the landscape, some fortunate golfers savored refreshments outdoors on the terrace, basking in the post-game camaraderie.
