Porthmadog - Tuesday 26th April
We were in West Wales today at the Porthmadog golf club! Day 2 of the day 5 day trip. Porthmadog has a parkland feel front 9 and a unbelievable scenic links back 9. The 13th tee box is the best I’ve ever seen! Conditions a dream again in our Welsh micro climate. Mid teens and a steady breeze.Firm fairways and slow links greens proved very tough to master.
5 par 3s today, the 2 on the back 9 were super tough- well done to anyone who hit the green.The longest par 3 was the 11th at 218 yards, congratulations to Iwan Lewis, although a plus handicapper! That’s how tough the hole was.
