Petersfield - Wednesday 20th July

A slightly cooler start to the day than yesterdays event at Llanymynech, Today saw us venture down Petersfield Golf Club in East Hampshire, the 170 acre course opened in 1981 and has challenging sloped fairways and long fescue guarding the fairways. A special mention of David Byrd who hit a hybrid off the 18th tee which traveled down the hill all 364 yards resting a foot from the hole - David calmly knocked it in for an eagle 2!
One other remarkable shot to speak off today, Petersfield member Mark Pickering made a hole in one on the 15th! “A 9 Iron that drew into a tucked away tight right pin position, lading 6 feet from the hole before going in” Well done Mark!
