Marlborough - Monday 23rd May

A breezy start to the morning but the sun eventually broke out to what was a beautiful day.

The panoramic views from the clubhouse over the golf course gave a wonderful glimpse as to what would be a very testing round at Marlborough golf club. The narrow undulating greens tested everyone as well as the especially tight par 4 3rd hole.

The standout outfit for the day was Mr  Tony Lewis in funky blue shorts, his big smile made our early start a lot easier!

I was lucky enough to see some fantastic shots whilst our marshalling, some worth mentioning are Ruth Hughes iron into the tough par 3 8th, Julian Pritchards shot into the 14th which narrowly passed the hole finishing just 1cm outside the Nearest the pin!
