Little Aston - 30th August

Glorious scenes at Little Aston were followed by a number of impressive scores on a day to remember.

Clifford Dawe and Rob Dore stormed to the lead with a stunning 46 points, beating two other pairs by a point.

Sam Evans and Dan Heath topped the gross leaderboard with a tidy four-under par total of 40 points.

For many of the field it was their first visit to this beautiful course in Birmingham and they were treated with perfect conditions. 

Alex Wiggins, Daniel Terry and Shaun Ward all won nearest to the pin prizes with stunning approach shots on the Par-3 holes.

Chris Collin won the longest drive award with a bomber down the 12th hole, with Paula Offer winning the women's event.

Iqbal Shergill and Andy Cairns won the Par 3 stableford competition.

Many of the 160 players enjoyed the experience and said they will be returning next year.
