Fulford - Thursday 23rd June
Fulford in Yorkshire was todays venue for the 160 golfers.
First tee was 7.40 and the last tee 3pm so a cracking tee sheet and a packed field.
The famous photo of Bernard langer playing out of the tree was at this course, who remembers this famous picture?
The weather was again beautiful, clear skies in the morning with temperatures reaching 27 degrees, Dreamy golf conditions. The cloud and a light shower did arrive late in the day but in all honesty this was greeted with open arms in the humid conditions.
A high slope of 142 today meant some additional shots to help the golfers on this challenging course. This helped the golfers as did the great conditions and the scoring was excellent today with plenty of pairs getting into the 40s!
Todays best dressed were both in tango orange. So mark pipkin and Matthew
Nowicki are todays winners!
As always at Fulford the Hospitality from Claire and the team has been superb and nearly refurbished club house looking fantastic.
We stay in Yorkshire tomorrow and head to Moor Allerton for another busy day and packed field.
