Fulford Singles - 4th September 2024
Fulford Golf Club in York played host to a thrilling pairs event recently, where golfers showcased their skills and determination.
Despite a breezy start to the morning and an afternoon that turned soggy with constant rain, the spirit of the competition was unwavering. The weather may have dampened the greens, but not the enthusiasm and sportsmanship displayed by all participants.

Longest Drive (Men’s): Jonathan Luckett wowed everyone with a monstrous drive that flew down the middle of the fairway, securing his win in the Longest Drive category.

Longest Drive (Ladies’): Karen Blackledge shone in the Ladies’ Longest Drive competition, delivering a fantastic shot.
The day also saw a total of 12 "2's" recorded, a remarkable achievement given the less-than-ideal weather conditions. With many participants managing to sink birdies on the par-3s despite the rain-soaked course.
