Forest Of Arden - Wednesday 3rd August

Today we were at FOA! Forest of Arden - Built on the vast 10,000-acre estate of Lord Ayelsford, the Arden Course at Forest of Arden Country Club is renowned around the world as one of the European Tour’s leading venues hosting previous English Open Championships and the British Masters.
A packed field with a 9 hour tee sheet and 200 golfers which was great to see at this popular midlands venue.
We’re giving the best dressed today to Marcus Constantinedes as he managed to forget his golf shoes…. So had to splash out on some news ones! Shoes looking fresh pal.
Interesting conditions to start the day with some heavy rain showers to soft up the course and soak the early starters. However this didn’t effect everyone with a pair from the first tee time coming in with a fantastic 47 points.
As the day went on the conditions improved and warmed up to be a glorious afternoon with the wild deers out in full force on the greens, fairways and in the rough too. Ball stopping deers?!
We head east tomorrow to Ely golf club.
