Nestled high above the Cotswolds with sweeping views of Cheltenham and beyond, Cleeve Hill Golf Club played host to an unforgettable Golf Day — a celebration of sport, camaraderie, and breathtaking scenery.
Cleeve Hill Golf Club has long held a special place in Gloucestershire’s golfing heritage. Originally laid out in 1891, the course is renowned for its rugged charm, links-style layout, and panoramic views. As the highest 18-hole course in the southwest of England, it offers a unique challenge and an unmatched natural backdrop that draws players from all over the country.
Highlights of the Day
The competition was fierce, but the mood remained festive throughout the day. With near-perfect conditions on the course and a great turnout of players, the event was a true success.
Perhaps the most heart-stopping moment came courtesy of Sam Maylott, who nearly achieved every golfer’s dream — a hole-in-one. On his birthday no less, Sam's tee shot finished just inches from the cup, earning him Nearest The Pin and a well-deserved £50 MGPT Voucher. So close, Sam — but what a story to tell!
