Bristol & Clifton - Friday 12th August

Bristol and Clifton was todays venue a beautifully mature and undulating parkland course. The hilly nature of the course, especially the back 9 provided a tough test in the blistering heat.
The relentless UK heatwave continues with temperatures in the mid 30s
Todays best dressed golfer was out in one of the first groups and hung on all day to claim the prize, well done Ben Stevens.
The longest drive today was won by Charles stoute who actually hit it that far he was on the green 389 yards away! Has to be the biggest hit of the season… then Charles 3 putted!
The 13th hole was a 222 yard par 3 off the whites and over 200 off the ladies tees so this proved really tricky. Somehow Jon shepherd managed to put it to a couple of feet- what a shot!
