Breadsall Scramble 2025
Today we had our annual trip to Breadsall priory for a Texas scramble event on the priory course.
We had a strong team of golfers and glorious blue skies now the early week storms have past.
Early starters were set on their way at 8am with the tee right through until 2.50.
Today’s nearest the pin was on the 6th hole and won by Lee Nolan, only a short hole at 124 yards but his shot wasn’t getting beaten , a tap in two with it only a foot away. Great shout Lee.
The longest drive for gents was on the 12th hole and won by William guggerty with a monster tee shot. It’s an uphill hole so his tee shot actually went past the previous drive of Curtis Jackson, rolled back.. then clung on to take the prize.
The ladies was on the hole Before the 11th running in the other direction down the hill ( there’s not a flat lie or hole round here ) !!
Congratulations to Angie Harrison.
Our HIO challenge was ran by Gregg today, he decided with the difficult 14th which was 168 yards from the whites and 124 off the ladies.
Our next event will be held tomorrow as we stay in Derbyshire and visit chesterfield golf club we also have an event at brokenhurst manor in Hampshire.
