Bondhay 2025

Bondhay Golf Club Delivers an Unforgettable Day on the Greens

There are golf days… and then there are golf days you talk about for weeks afterwards. Our recent event at Bondhay Golf Club fell firmly into the latter category – a perfect blend of sunshine, competition, and good-natured banter. From the first tee shot to the final putt, the atmosphere was electric, the course was immaculate, and the smiles were as plentiful as the birdies.

A Little History of Bondhay Golf Club

Nestled in the heart of the Nottinghamshire countryside, Bondhay Golf Club has been a gem of the local golfing scene since its establishment in 1990. Known for its 18-hole Championship Course, the club offers a challenging but fair layout, rewarding accuracy and creativity. Over the years, Bondhay has built a reputation for its pristine greens, warm hospitality, and commitment to growing the game for players of all levels. Its location and facilities have made it a popular choice for society days, tournaments, and special events like ours.

The Event – Sunshine, Laughter & Great Golf

From the moment the first tee shot was struck, it was clear we were in for a special day. The weather couldn’t have been better – clear skies, a gentle breeze, and a touch of summer warmth that made the fairways inviting and the greens receptive.

There was a perfect mix of competitive spirit and good humour throughout the day. Whether you were in contention for the top prizes or just happy to avoid the bunkers, every group brought their own energy to the event. The course was in superb condition, testing every aspect of the players’ games while offering those all-important birdie opportunities.
