Pairs Stableford Recap: A Day of Golfing Excellence at Aston Wood 🏌️♂️⛳

A Fantastic Day on the Course
What a day it has been at Aston Wood, as we wrapped up another incredible Golf Pairs event! From the moment our first groups teed off to the final putt on the 18th, we saw some truly outstanding golf, great camaraderie, and plenty of memorable moments.
Aston Wood provided a brilliant test of skill, with its tight pin positions and water hazards ensuring that every pair had to bring their A-game. The evening golfers had a much more enjoyable round with the late sunshine and the head professional, Pete Livie, was brilliant throughout as he engaged with every group of players who passed through. 

Tournament Highlights
  • Winning Pair: 🏆 Congratulations to Scott Wood and Jack Bagnall who took home the top spot with an impressive 46 points. They played the entire round without scoring fewer than two points on a hole! .
  • Runner-Up: A great effort from Dan Turton and Matt Turton who lost on the countback.
  • Nearest the Pin: 🎯 Henry Cleminson showed pinpoint accuracy on Hole 14 landing his shot just a few feet from the pin.
  • Longest Drive: 🚀Matt Boxer smashed a monster drive on Hole 16, setting him up for a perfect approach shot.

The Course & The Atmosphere
We couldn’t have asked for a better venue than Aston Wood with it’s challenging layout providing the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable day of golf.
A huge thank you to Aston Wood for their hospitality and seamless organisation, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
