For the 2022 season all Golf Pairs singles events are formal handicap qualifying events with scores submitted to WHS.

If you have recently acquired an igolf handicap from England Golf - then why not book into one of our single series events? All our pairs events require golfers to have played 6 competitions in 12 months to compete for prizes - so why not get signed up now for some of these - and get ahead of the curve. If you are keen on playing some new courses this year as a single golfer, than look no further than our handicap qualifying competitions which are running throughout the year.
Win some prizes, play a great value golf course, and your scores will be submitted for you back to WHS for handicap purposes. We have 4 brackets running for different handicaps and all are welcome - so come and enjoy.

We have chosen the stableford format to ensure pace of play is maintained - the rule of this competition is that you must pick up if you are not scoring.
We will be playing typically in fourballs and we welcome groups.

In addition to the main prize, all events this year will offer placed pairs down to a minimum of 6th some fantastic prizes.

As well as first place winning an overseas holiday, 2nd down to a minimum of 6th will also some win great prizes including, free 4 balls at top venues, entry to future events, Mizuno and Golf Pairs merchandise.
At every event all golfers will have the opportunity to win a major hole in 1 prize.
 If you do not have an official WHS/CONGU handicap then you can either participate for a bit of fun, or on the Golfshake leaderboard where we offer smaller prizes such as vouchers and merchandise. If you're not familiar with Golfshake then check them out, it's a great alternative for those who can't meet Official WHS/CONGU criteria. For your information Format - Better Ball Pairs Stableford Competition played off 85% handicap.
Handicaps of all placed prize winners are verified via central CDH system.

Can't wait to get stuck into these. As a iGolf handicapper it's difficult for me to get the needed cards in so I can qualify for prizes at Golf Pairs events but this gives me the opportunity.

  • Individual Stableford 95% handicap aligned with WHS

  • Typically at MGST events no food is included in the ticket price. There are some exceptions to this, which will always be advertised in the event home page. If it is not advertised, there is no food provided as part of the fee. Most clubs will provide food/drinks on the day for a fee.

  • Tee times are released 1-2 weeks before competition. Once they are released we will notify you by email. If you wish to advise us of a tee time preference you must do this in the participation form you are emailed ahead of the competition.

  • There are no requirements for prize eligibility in this competition apart from a valid WHS handicap index. One of the key purposes of the MGST range is to provide a platform for golfers wishing to play in more accessible handicap qualifying events, so anyone with a WHS handicap (including iGolf) is welcome.

  • There is no handicap limit at MGST events. There are 4 prize brackets for handicap indexes.

    • Less than 5.4
    • 5.5-12.4
    • 12.5-18.4
    • 18.5 and above
