The welcoming and modern clubhouse with a large open restaurant serves an excellent range of top quality local and international food and beers for anyone looking for a pre or post round snifter.
We are planning to start each day at around 11-12 so plenty of time for those who wish to recover from the night before, and also plenty of time after to enjoy a cold beer in the clubhouse with it's superb hillside views over the island after if required.
The course is technically tricky, and built to enhance the natural feeling of the area, there are many challenges on the course which mean that we are sure that three visits will not cause any issues, as you'll be able to improve and understand the course more each time.
The course rose to prominence when it was selected as the host in 2006 of the Bangkok Airways Open, and they have maintained those high standards through the years. The views over the gulf of Thailand are jaw dropping and need to be seen to be experienced, whilst working your way through the cliffs and streams of the local jungle.
Quick greens as you would expect in the climate add to the protection afforded by this demanding 6300 yard course, which will test any standard of golfer, since accuracy rather than length is of paramount importance.
The club has a relaxed but sensible dress code similar to the UK - no tank tops, bathing suits or denim, and collared shirts with sleeves (golf polos) must be worn for gents. For women, it's knee length golf skirts or shorts along with golf wear.
You'll have a caddy as part of your package - which is standard in Thailand - they know the course literally like the back of their hands so you'll be well served!
There is a driving range and locker room on site, and you can rent clubs, umbrellas and even golf shoes if your luggage allowance is stretched with other equipment, and a well stocked club shop to purchase balls and tees - you don't need to bring anything apart from yourself.
Please remember that whereas we have 3 rounds booked for our event, additional rounds can be booked if you wish to play more.
We also would recommend since we have no accommodation nor flights booked, that customers may wish to make this trip part of a wider Thailand experience trip, perhaps taking in some of the Bangkok or Phuket courses at the same time as Koh Samui.
