The Carrick 2 Days 2025
A Memorable Two-Day Golf Event at The Carrick, Loch Lomond – Rain, Resilience, and Rewards
The scenic Carrick Golf Course at Loch Lomond played host to a fantastic two-day golfing spectacle that saw overcast skies give way to sunshine, spirited competition, and a host of well-earned prizes. Despite a soggy start on Day 1, players displayed remarkable resilience and good humour as they tackled one of Scotland’s most picturesque yet challenging courses.
Day One – Wet Start, Strong Performances
The opening day was greeted with traditional Scottish weather – damp, breezy, and a true test of patience and perseverance. But as is often the case in golf, the tougher the challenge, the sweeter the reward.
Taking 1st place with clinical consistency were John Gray & Mark Lockhart, earning a £150 MGPT voucher. Hot on their heels in 2nd place, and clearly not letting the rain dampen their form, were Martin McGillivray & Gavin Fraser (£100 voucher). Ian and Sharon Rich claimed 3rd, followed by S. Kerrigan & William Jeffrey in 4th – who also secured 1st in the 4-Hole Competition, walking away with another £100 MGPT voucher.
The Sterry duo (Ty & Jasen) showcased their elite ball-striking by winning 1st Gross, while James Doodson & Roger Webster took home 2nd Gross.
