Southwick Park - Tuesday 28th June
Mizuno singles series headed to the beautiful South Hampshire countryside to Southwick Park Golf Club situated on Southwick Lake. The narrow yet undulating 6000 yard par 69 had small greens protected by well placed bunkers, strong winds in the afternoon meant this would be a real test for our field of 56 golfers.
One thing to notice at Southwick Park was how friendly and helpful all the staff were, especially Neil Grist the Head Professional and General Manager who helped ensure the day ran without a hitch. It was great to see so many Southwick Greenkeepers playing, the course condition was testament to their hard work and preparation for our event with slick true greens and the course generally presented to an excellent standard.
