Yorkshire 5 Days 2026
Share
The Yorkshire 5 Days 2026 once again delivered everything that makes this event one of the highlights of the amateur golfing calendar. Bringing together golfers from across the country, the event combined outstanding competition with the opportunity to play five of Yorkshire's finest courses. From historic heathland layouts to championship parkland tests, competitors were treated to a golfing journey through some of England's most celebrated golfing terrain.
Throughout the week, players faced a variety of conditions and challenges. Strategic course management, accurate ball striking, and steady putting were rewarded across five very different venues. While the competition for the overall titles remained fierce throughout, the event was as much about camaraderie, shared experiences, and appreciation of Yorkshire's rich golfing heritage as it was about the final leaderboard positions.
5 days of testing conditions - with wind, rain and the brief bit of sunshine ensured at true test for all of our golfers.
Founded in 1909, Moortown Golf Club is one of Yorkshire's most historic venues and is best known for hosting the 1929 Ryder Cup, the first Ryder Cup to be staged in Great Britain. Designed by the legendary Dr Alister MacKenzie, whose work also includes Augusta National, Moortown showcases many of the strategic design principles that made him famous. Wide fairways, cleverly positioned bunkering, and subtly contoured greens provide a stern but enjoyable test of golf.
