Sunshine, Sea Views & Big Scores – Wales 3-Day Tour

Three spectacular courses, breathtaking scenery, and glorious Welsh sunshine made for an unforgettable few days on our latest Wales 3-Day Tour.

Taking in Pwllheli, Nefyn, and Porthmadog, golfers were treated to some of the finest coastal and mountain views anywhere in UK golf — along with conditions that tested every club in the bag.

Day 1 – Pwllheli Golf Club

The tour began at the beautiful Pwllheli Golf Club, where golfers were welcomed by stunning sea views and bright sunshine.

While the weather looked perfect, the strong coastal winds quickly reminded players they were in for a true Welsh links challenge. Into the breeze, even the shortest holes became a serious test, with some drives travelling little more than 50 yards directly into the wind!

Despite the conditions, scoring remained impressive and the atmosphere around the course was fantastic throughout the day.

Day 2 – Nefyn Golf Club

Day two took us to the incredible Nefyn Golf Club, one of the most scenic courses in the UK. Perched on the coastline with dramatic sea cliffs and panoramic views, it’s a course that never fails to leave golfers speechless.

The sunshine continued, but so did the wind — creating plenty of memorable moments, near hole-in-ones, and some creative shot-making from players battling the elements.

The famous coastal holes once again proved to be the standout talking point of the day.

Day 3 – Porthmadog Golf Club

The final day at Porthmadog Golf Club provided the perfect finish to the trip. Combining links golf with stunning mountain backdrops, the course offered a brilliant and varied challenge for players trying to finish strongly on the leaderboard.

By this stage, golfers had experienced everything Welsh golf has to offer — fast-running fairways, unpredictable winds, and unforgettable scenery.

Across all three days, the scoring was exceptional despite the windy conditions, with several teams producing impressive totals.
