Remedy Oak 2026

Remedy Oak 2026

Remedy Oak served up a scorcher of a day — record-breaking temperatures, a sun-drenched course, and some seriously impressive golf from a field that handled the heat with smiles all round.

Course Highlights

Remedy Oak is always a favourite on the calendar, and today was no exception. The course was in beautiful condition, the scenery as stunning as ever, and the hospitality from the team was first class — a venue that consistently delivers on every front. It's the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and enjoy every hole, and the field certainly did just that.

Weather Conditions

One of the hottest days on the calendar for May, and it certainly felt like it out on the course. Not a breath of wind and temperatures pushing past 30°C — proper summer golf, and a real test of stamina as much as skill. Hats off to every player who battled through with such great temperaments throughout the day. The kind of conditions where staying cool, hydrated, and patient is just as important as the swing itself.

Memorable Moments

The 2s pot was tightly contested, with just seven made on the course all day. The standout performers were Jamie Clark and Jon Nash, who each picked up a pair of 2s — netting themselves vouchers of over £115 each. A brilliant return for some sharp iron play in tough scoring conditions.

And for those bringing the style as well as the substance, Ady Crook took the Best Dressed honours. A proper turnout in proper heat — well played.

Tournament Highlights

A winning score of 48 points in 30°C heat is no small feat. To put up a number like that when the temperature is doing its best to wear you down takes real quality — both in terms of golf and composure. A brilliant effort from the top of the leaderboard.

Winners

Huge congratulations to Julie Wyatt and Mark Tidcombe, who took the top spot with a superb 48 points. A fantastic round in testing conditions and a thoroughly deserved win.

Just a single point behind in the runners-up spot were Ashley Blyth and Jamie Clark, edging it on countback with 47 points. A brilliant effort, and a great day all round for Jamie — who also walked away with that 2s voucher in his back pocket.
