Hull 2025

Sunshine, Skill & Smiles at Hull Golf Club

It felt more like mid-summer than the end of September as we arrived at Hull Golf Club under glorious blue skies and warm sunshine. With temperatures soaring and spirits high, golfers couldn’t have asked for a better day to take on one of Yorkshire’s most scenic and enjoyable courses.

The course looked immaculate — tree-lined fairways, beautifully maintained greens, and a few enviable houses overlooking the action. It’s easy to see why Hull Golf Club remains a favourite among locals and visitors alike.

Highlights from the Day

A standout moment came on the risk-and-reward par-4 10th, where John Garton played it bold — flirting with the water on the right before sinking a superb putt for an eagle two! A shot that summed up the excitement of the day.
