Foxhills Longcross 2026

Very hot and dry conditions, a spectacular downhill par-5 from an elevated tee, a par-5 finish sharing a green with the Bernard Hunt course, and another near hole-in-one on the Charity Hole — Foxhills' Longcross Course served up a really enjoyable day of golf.

Course Highlights

The Longcross Course at Foxhills is a genuinely enjoyable championship layout, with the standout hole on the day being the fantastic 14th — a spectacular par-5 played from an elevated tee, stretching over 500 yards. Foxhills describes it as one of the course's standout holes, and it's easy to see why — the dramatic downhill tee shot alone is worth the trip.

The closing par-5 also produced plenty of drama, with its partially blind uphill approach finishing on a shared green with the Bernard Hunt course, right by the clubhouse. A memorable way to finish a round.

Weather Conditions

Very hot and dry conditions from start to finish — proper firm-and-fast summer golf, with the fairways running for miles and every well-struck tee shot picking up serious extra yardage. The kind of day where the ball chased forever off the tee.

Memorable Moments

The Charity Hole produced another close call today — a tee shot that came within a whisker of a hole in one. So close to glory, but a brilliant moment all the same, and one of the standout talking points on the day.

Winners

Huge congratulations to the winning pair on taking the top spot on the day. A brilliant round in tough scoring conditions and a thoroughly deserved win.

In the runners-up spot were John Hiding and Lee Loveridge — a fantastic effort and a strong finish on a course playing firm and fast.
